How does this work?
Private In-person lesson:
I come to your home or meet at a park for a one hour session once a week. Go over your goals, walk through the commands you and your pup will be learning for that week. You will have homework each week that we will go over together at the following lesson. I am to teach you how to guide and communicate with your pup.
Private Online lesson:
Schedule a day and that works for you and your pup, I send you a link for Google Meet-up which is available for anyone with a Gmail. The session is an hour long, we go over goals, teach you and your pup how to work together while I guide. There will be homework after each lesson, the next session will begin with going over the homework.
Training Methods
Below I describe general training plans that involve on and off leash training tool usage.
Depending on dog and owner goals custom plans can be made.
Positive reinforcement
TREATS! TREATS! Every dog loves a treat; using rewards for desired behaviors. A powerful tool of treats, praise, and toys to shape or mold a dog's behavior. Through this method repetition is your friend, the more you reward desired behaviors; the more likely they will occur in the future.
Prong Collar
An approach to dog training or behavior modification that involves the use of both positive and negative techniques. In other words, it is reward-based training with fair corrections which the dog will be introduced to once it associates the behavior with the command.
E-collar
The off-leash option gives a sense of freedom in using the E-collar, which offers a muscle stimulation version of a correction. It is the press of a button. The ability to become reliable off-leash is an advanced understanding between owner and dog without the tether of a leash. This advanced training tool is best after the dog has learned to set expectations.

Puppy Star Class

Want your puppy to stop jumping on guests, having accidents in the house, and chewing up what they are not supposed to? Under six months old is the perfect stage for setting rules, guidelines, and expectations. Graduating from Puppy Star gives the perfect start for a well-behaved puppy.

Basic On-Leash Class
Private one-on-one

Price: $55 per session
Want your dog to stop pulling on the leash, barking at the door, and coming when called? To be included will be outings to allow distractions while performing commands. Using fenced in Sniffspots or the park on trails or dog parks to expose and socialize your dog.

Advanced Off-leash Class
Private one-on-one
Time Frame: 6 to 8 weeks
Price: $55 per session
Want your dog to be free of the leash with reliable recall? Welcome to the Off-leash class! Here, we introduce the e-collar. With this method, a leash will not always need to be attached to keep the dog under control. Outings will be necessary at fenced in Sniffspots, park trails, dog parks for distractions and socialization to ensure reliability.
